The Pea Mangetout Golden Sweet is a fantastic variety of mangetout with a stunning golden colour. The peas are produced on a climbing plant that grows up to 200cm tall! This makes them incredibly easy to find and harvest when compared to green varieties.
Before the mangetout pods form, you’ll be treated to the beautiful violet flowers and fantastic red leaf nodes that blossom in abundance. The mangetout is great for eating fresh or adding to a stir fry or salad for a flurry of taste and colour to your dishes. Add them to lunch boxes for a lunch time snack too! These Sweet tasting mangetout are absolutely delicious with a great crunch to them. Harvest them June–October.
